Talking "time-of-use" at Unified Symposium

The Unified Wine and Grape Symposium runs Jan. 24-26 at the SAFE Credit Union Convention Center in Sacramento this year, and we’re anticipating a lot of discussion about how vineyard managers can continue to prosper alongside high water costs.

In our view, it’s important to factor in pumping costs when thinking about water. A lot of cost increases tend to be driven by indifference to time-of-use rates for pumping at high-demand hours of the day (and sometimes high demand days of the month). Automating pumps to water during off-peak hours and pause during peak demand times can make a huge difference to your overall water costs.

In the spirit of tackling challenges, check out the breakout session “Doing Even More, With Even Less” and enjoy the conference!
